This year, Roots of Resilience Collective is setting a goal of raising $2,000 to help our team become trained facilitators in the Effective Black Parenting Program — and we need your help to make it happen!
The Effective Black Parenting Program is a culturally grounded, evidence-based curriculum designed to strengthen families through parenting strategies that honor and uplift Black culture, identity, and resilience. By completing this training, we’ll be able to offer culturally appropriate parenting support that helps prevent unnecessary family separations and equips parents with tools to nurture strong, healthy relationships with their children.
This work aligns with our mission to empower and support Black families impacted by the child welfare system through education, advocacy, and healing-centered approaches.
